It's Been a very Busy Month!

This month has been a whirlwind! The time sure flies when you have 3 busy kids, 3 jobs and a messy house all in one family!

Rick has been working hard as usual. Still working the same 2 jobs. I know he must enjoy the time away from all the crazy family stuff. No whining kids, no dirty diapers and no cleaning of the house.

For me on the other hand, I think I'm sinking in quicksand. I get so tired of all the daily crap. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and all that comes with it. I signed up to be a mommy! I just wish I had sometime to have my own identity. I seem to forget who I am and who I want to be. I'm not complaining. Just thinking out loud.

Joshua is still playing football. He is doing amazing. A teammate got hurt earlier in the season. His name is Harris. Harris was the team star. He was the running back whom no one could touch. When he got hurt the coaches were a little worried. Then they decided to try Joshua out. (He as he tells it is the second fastest runner out there) The coaches are amazed at Joshua's football abilities. Coach Jason always asks "are you sure this is his first year?" I smile and sweetly say "Yes". In my head I'm saying something totally different. "Hell ya that's my boy. The future MVP. Yup he's a natural!" I have to stay modest. So "YES" does the job well. there are only a few games left in the season. I am so sad to see the season end. Now what are we gonna do on Sundays?

Micah Boy is in California right now. As I type this he is running around Disneyland with Grandma Lyn, Uncle Nate, Aunty K and Jazzy. I am so jealous! I wanna go too! He is having so much fun. This his first trip all alone with grandma. To my amazement he didn't drive Mom crazy on the plane. I miss my little guy a lot. He's so happy to be on this trip. I hope he does his homework!

Christian the little monkey is growing at warp speed. he is officially eating food now. and YIKES his poops stink bad! We have eaten Rice Cereal, Squash and Sweet Potatoes. The other day we found 2 teeth growing in his mouth! Time is flying by too fast again! Let me enjoy the baby while he still is a baby!

Aunty Cindy and Deanna (Dee - nah) came for a visit and did the craft fair with me again this year! I was so happy to see them and spent time with them. I love to have them visit. Even if its only a short visit, I love is still. Britni came and helped at the craft fair too. I seem to only see her 2-3 times a year too. Life is so busy for everyone!

Well next stop on the family train is Thanksgiving! Sadly we will be all over the earth this year!
Nakao Family - California
Payton, Ogata, Womack Family - Maui
Ogata Family - Oahu
Mommy - Germany!

Well, I 'll keep everyone updated!

Life in the middle of the Week! UGH!

It's the middle of the week and the weekend is just as jammed packed with stuff to do as the weekdays. Its funny, when you have kids (very active ones) the weekends seem more like work then the weekdays. I think we get up earlier and stay out later. The boys have intersession this week. (poor Rick, he has them all day with him at work) I feel for ya honey! Joshua is fine at the office. Micah on the other hand is NOT! Micah is a special little boy. He has no patience and a bad temper. He gets all of this from his father. Everyone knows how kind and relaxed I am. ( ha ha ha!) He gets antsy there and drives Rick up the wall.

Today Micah decided to smart-mouth Grandma Lyn. ( wrong move Buddy!) I guess they were all playing outside of the office, Micah was doing "Around the World" with the yo-yo. A delivery man showed up and asked Mom to sign for a package. Being that they were playing outside, Mom didn't have a pen. She nicely asked Micah to go and get Grandma a pen. Micah's response was "I don't work here!". Whoa, was mom ever pissed. (I wasn't there, I got the information second hand. Rick is pretty reliable!) I can just see her standing there with steam coming out her ears! I don't know where Micah picks this stuff up from. I never talk to my parents this way. All I can say is he gets it from his Cory. Don't get me wrong, Micah has his good points too. I joke sometimes that he is lucky he's cute or I would have given him away by now. (Its beginning to wear thin now!) He is just a very curious and kolohe child.

Joshua is loving being the GOOD CHILD. He has even said "I am the GOLDEN CHILD!" I'm so glad he isn't vain or anything.

Christian is turning into a mover and a shaker. Now when I put him on a blanket, He turns into Mr. Helicopter man. He spins all around the blanket. Yesterday I was suffering with a really bad headache. So my wonderful husband (can you tell he hasn't made me mad yet this week) watched the baby for me so I could sleep. Well, Christian was on the blanket on his back eating his fist (the new delicious treat) when Rick was washing dishes. Rick washes a few dishes and looks at Chris again and to Rick's amazment he is now on his belly! We have all seen Christian turn over a few times. Poor Rick, He missed it yet again! Don't worry honey, there will be lots of firsts that you will be there to witness.

Well, we have a busy rest of the week with Football practices, my Hale Mahaolu Dinner, work, Britni's wedding, cub scouts and a football game to end the week. I hope I can fit sleep and poop in there somewhere!

Joshua the Football Star!

Yesterday was a pciture perfect football Sunday. The family woke early to get ready for Football. (This is our new sunday routine) I am up ready to go. Since I started getting up so damn early, I have against my whole being become a MORNING PERSON! :( yuck! My sons of course want nothing more then to sleep in. ( They had a long night of video games and a movie!) As soon as I yell "Everyone get up or we'll be late for football". Joshua is up like a dog bite in in the butt. Eyes still half shut, he is starting to get ready. I love seeing the devotion to the sport in his eyes. Joshua has never loved anything this much in his whole life. I can still remember the interest in soccer fade away to hate for the sport. Basketball was okay, but Joshua out played the other kids on his team. Its hard when only 2 or 3 kids play hard and the others are just there watching Joshua, Payton and Jordan zoom by them.

Anyway, we all got ready to go to the game. It's a damn chore with all the kids. We actually got the feild on time. This is a rare feet for the Payton/Ogata/Womack clan. Like I said too many kids! hee hee hee! Joshua is always a little nervous before a game. He will sit very somber in the back seat of the car all the way to the game. He looks so seroius and focused. He constantly runs plays at home and does his team chants in the shower. They have to weigh in every game. This week the boys all changed into their uniforms right there in the feild. I look up across the feild and I see my Joshy's butt looking back at me. I had to laugh. All I saw was little underwearing butts changing into their game pants. (too cute) I love when the boys are all suited up with the pads on. They all look like little men.

The Kihei Dolphins take the feild with pride. As usual Coach Jason can be heard from across the feild YELLING. He is a great coach with a loud voice and sometime foul launguage. (like joshy says "I hear worse from my MOmmy!") Wait, thats a bad thing! DARN! :) Anyway, Joshua is very proud that he is a part of everything. He is on the kick-off team, the reurn team, defense and second string offense. He is a very strong corner back. ( I still don't understand half the positions her plays!) The game went awsome. Our bys play with a lot of heart and youcan see it. The Dad's and 1 loud mouth Mom , cheer with alot of heart too. (Don't just assume the loud mouth mom is me! um..... ok... it is ME!) Joshua held the Kahului Sabers back evrytime they ran into him. The play of the day came when the Sabers decided to try a pass play (JPW normally runs the ball everytime). Joshua took off to block their running back (i think). Joahua ran toward him, Looked over his shoulder, Saw the ball coming, turned, jumped and caught the ball. By this time I am up from my chair, yelling "GO JOSH! RUN!" He ran about 7 or 8 yards and fianlly got taken down by 3 players. I am beside myself with pride! I am yelling"THAT'S MY BOY! and cheering!) So much for my lady like persona! Ha ha ha! The boys held the Sabers back and won 24 - 6!

It was an amazing game and the boys are doing so great! I am so proud of Joshua and his team mates!

GO KIHEI DOLPHINS!
